I am a few days behind when it comes to the Write 31 Days for October. I don’t intend to let you down! If that means I play catch up and write a few days in one day, I will do that! I intend to complete this challenge, but some days may have posts that are not related to the writing prompts that I have chosen to follow. I am still writing for you, trust me!
Today, this post, I am going with the prompt of hope…this is a big word for me! There are a lot of things that I hope for each day.
Every day that I wake up, I hope that my children will learn something. I don’t care if it is Monday or Saturday, I want my kids learning! I want every day in their lives to give them something to learn. Whether it is something I have planned for them, or something they have an interest in and take it to the next level of learning, I just want my kids learning!
Every morning that I wake up, I hope for a blessed day. I hope that God would bless my family with what we need. Not fame and fortune, but calm and comfort. Our lives have been thrown around a lot over the last few months. I love the days when we can be happy, calm and the lazy Sundays take on a whole new meaning! Every day that we have together, I consider a blessed day from the Lord.
Every night, as I get everyone ready for bed, I hope that they will sleep well. I hope the kids won’t have nightmares. I hope that my husband will find some comfort and sleep, and I hope that I will wake refreshed and ready to take on the new day.
Everyone hopes for something, but we all hope for something different. While others hope for big things, I hope for the small miracles. I hope for sleep, for learning and for comfort. What is it that you hope for?
