Mother's Day is quickly approaching. This is one of those days when mom gets to get spoiled. While I love this day and all that the kids and daddy want to do for me, I am a simple girl. I have never really fallen for the physical gift side of days like this. All I want is a day with no fighting between the kids, a day when they listen and help without being told 10 times. But, we all know that for kids, this is hard. So, I figured, while they work on that, I would put together a simple wish list of simple things that I would appreciate in honor of Mother's Day.

After reading Better Together by Jill Savage, I am interested in more of these wonderful mom books. The ones that help me realize that I am not alone and that I am a good mom and that I try hard. I feel like this book will help build off the last one I read and would love this in either physical or eBook format.
I would love a spoil mom shampoo and conditioner set. You know, that set that you really love, but know that you can spend that extra money on an extra meal, or a new pair of pants for the child who won't stop growing? Yeah, Mother's Day is a great time to be spoiled like that!
I love my gardening time. I have been super busy the last two years, but I really want to get back into it more this year. I love a good pair of gloves when I am in the garden. Even though I only wear them half the time, I still love them for when I need to really get dirty, yet I need a clean hand for the kids on the run.
I have heard a lot of good about these. They look really comfortable and that is something that every mom needs. These slip on and off, and when you are busy chasing children around, the simplicity of that is tremendous!
Um…coffee, yes! I love collecting mugs from my kids. They are my all-time favorite gifts. I always have a cup or 10 of coffee in the morning and this is my way to remember to slow down for a moment. You can never go wrong with getting me a coffee mug from my kids!!
These are my top 5 "things" that I would love for Mother's Day. While these are great, I am hoping for a great day with my husband and kids. Knowing that I will be spending the day with them is so much more exciting than any gift that could be bought for me.
So, moms. What is your favorite "thing" or part of Mother's Day? What are you looking forward to the most?
