What a busy week! We have had so much happen here in the last week. Daddy took a new job. A better job, but he is now in another state. We hope to be able to follow him shortly, but it is different. We are really thankful for the job change, and thank the Lord for it! And hey, we homeschool, it's not like we are going to have to "change schools" or anything πŸ™‚

We are blessed to have such a wonderful team of co-hosts sharing the Hearts for Home Blog Hop! Be sure to check out their blogs, you're sure to find inspiration and encouragement! Introducing the Hearts for Home Blog Hop Hosts!

Well, we just needed to have a last go with the winter thing I guess! Snow all day yesterday left us with over a foot of snow! Not to mention the wind and the drifts that come with that πŸ™ Not a happy family here…we were having too much fun outside! Not only that, but daddy got sick…Daddy doesn't get sick, so when he does, he Does! We are trying to help him out, but being stuck inside isn't helping anyone! No worries…by Tuesday we should be back at 70 degrees…yes, that is what I said! I think mother nature has a few issues this year πŸ˜‰

Treating Ear Infections Naturally ~ From Virginia George

Ear infections are nasty! I fell in love with my chiropractor after a double ear infection hit Ray Ray bad! 3 days and better…umm yeah! I really don't like medicine and love to have a list of other options available for when I need them!

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6. This is my verse this week…my understanding is that April means spring and warm…we had snow Tuesday and now more today… I am just going to trust that the LORD has plans for this weather…that is all I have right now πŸ™‚

What do you do when winter seems to drag on? What about those kids who have a few days of beautiful weather, only to have it change 20-30 less the next day? Yeah, I can't wait for the heat to come back…and no, I am not one who later complains about the heat πŸ™‚ During the summer you will hear me say that this is so much better than the cold! But no matter the weather, I thank God for every day that I am here with my family. Life is short and every day is a gift from Him.
