Koru Naturals and Blue Tansy Cream ~ A Schoolhouse Crew Review

Koru Naturals has done it again. They have shown me wonderful products that I did not know I needed, until I used them! For this review my family used the Skin Clear Cream, Manuka Honey Propolis Soap and the Emu Oil and Blue Tansy Oil Cream.

Skin Clear Cream

Moe Man and I used the Skin Clear Cream. The ingredients include items such as Manuka Honey (raw and unpasteurized) and pure steam-distilled East Cape Manuka Oil. There is also Kawakawa and Harakeke, Burdock Root, Thyme, and Canadian Aspen Bark. All of these are items to help clear up acne prone skin, which Moe Man had, and help promote skin elasticity, who doesn’t want that?

While I didn’t have the acne prone skin, I figured we would both use this cream to see who liked it better. Moe Man, being a teenage boy, didn’t really care for the extra step after washing his face. However, when he started noticing some clearing of the skin he didn’t argue as much.

This lotion is “a little goes a long way” kind of lotion. I found this out the hard way when I used it the first time. You really only need a little! I noticed with my sensitive skin, that this had a slight tingle and warming affect after applying it. Nothing horrible, but something I was not used to. Moe Man did not notice this and had no issues with it.

Manuka Honey Propolis Soap

We love honey soap in this house. It is said to be a great antibacterial properties and with Daddy going through some health issues, antibacterial is a good thing. While we have tried other honey soaps, this is by far the better of them!

Daddy has some issues that cause him to have intense sweaty spells. These lead to feeling dirty and greasy. However, this soap takes that feeling away and leaves you feeling clean all over again. While cleaning this good you would be worried about being dry…the only dryness we felt was when using this on our face. When used on the body, we felt clean and not dry.

This is something that we will continue to have in our bathroom, and have an extra on hand! Yes, we love it that much!

Emu Oil and Blue Tansy Oil Cream

Now this…this is something I don’t know how we lived without it! This jar does not get left alone for a single day here! While it is said to be odorless, I notice a refreshing minty scent when using this. This is not a smell like other creams used for pain, but a nice scent.

The combination of Emu Oil, Blue Tansy, Arnica Extract, MSM and Aloe Vera make this cream great for pains on your body. Working on the computer like I do, I notice a tightness in my shoulders. After using this on a regular basis, I did not notice as much of an issue when I woke up.

Daddy has nerve pain and volunteered to help me review this. While I noticed a change, daddy was shocked at the relief he got from using this. Within a few minutes his nerve pain had subsided and after using this on a regular basis, he didn’t notice it nearly as much.

This is not a cure all cream, but it sure is a helper cream!

Our Final Thoughts

I don’t think there is an item on Koru Naturals’ site that we would not like! So far everything we have tried has turned out to be something we found out we needed. These three items will be kept in our house and we will continue to use and purchase more after they run out. Finding these has been wonderful and we are thankful for being given the chance to try them!

Now, Koru Naturals has MANY more wonderful items that we were not able to try this time. If you want to check these out, head on over and see what these other lucky families have said about them!
