Here we are, another week into our journey through the alphabet! This week we are on the letter T! I hope you are enjoying your time following along with us, and I love to read through your posts each week as well! Have you stopped over and said hi to my co-hosts Kirsten from DoodleMom and DaLynn from Biblical Womanhood?
This week I want to share a book that Moe Man has read and one that we have listened to on audio drama. One that every child should read or hear at least once in their childhood. This book is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
We currently own the Young Reader’s Classics of Tom Sawyer, and Moe Man has read through it. At the time I had him answer a few questions as he went through the chapters and really didn’t have a plan. However, he remembers it. This is a book that even a reluctant reader will read and remember!
I wish I had known about the Glencoe Literature Library when Moe Man was reading this book, but I know that I will be using this with Ray Ray in the short future. This site has numerous free guides to go with some great books. These guides offer so much, and I love coming here when I need to find a book for Moe Man to read.
Tom Sawyer is a kid that every kid can relate to at some point or another. He finds a way to get out of trouble, out of work, and even how to save the day. While this is not the easiest to read, we also have it on audio drama. This means that while we are in the car, we were able to listen to the story acted out. I loved that the little kids could hear the story and be drawn into it through this experience. It will make it that much more fun when they actually read the story themselves.
What did you write about for the letter T? I would love to read it! Please share it with me!
